We brought breakfast to the North Dallas substation on McCallum and Hillcrest, the home of fallen Officer Michael Smith. While a warm breakfast of eggs, bacon and French toast was the least we could do, We at Crossroads Diner know there is so much more that should be done!
On Friday July 15th, we made Bread Pudding for 500 to serve at the fundraise #DallasStrongBBQ. This was put on by the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce for the Assist an Officer Foundation.
On Friday July 22nd, my fellow Chef colleagues and I will be cooking from 6 – 10 P.M. at the Highland in Dallas for The Giving Table for the families of the fallen officers.
As part of the Dallas Community for 20 years, I believe we need to come together to help those who help protect us.
